This Battery Charger can be used to recharge AA and AAA batteries both
NiMH and NiCD!
Charger can be used to charge 2,4,6, or 8 batteries at a time, (it has 4
seperate charging banks)
You can expect NiCD batteries to take about 5 hours to charge, NiMH
batteries will take about 8 hours (after the initial charge).
It is important that you do not mix battery types in each charging bank. For
instance only charge NiMH Batteries with other NiMH batteries.

NiCD batteries are an older technology that has a lot
of problems that NiMH simply doesn't. NiMH batteries are better for
several reasons lets take a look at a few.
NiMH batteries have a higher energy density. That means that
NiMH batteries store up to 50% more power than NiCD batteries. These 4

NiMH batteries do not suffer from memory effects unlike NiCD
batteries. With NiCD batteries you need to fully discharge batteries
each time to get them to fully discharge the next time. NiMH batteries
simply do not suffer from this problem.
NiMH batteries can be recharged up to 1000 times! Compare this
to about 300 times for NiCD batteries and you see what a difference
this makes! These batteries last up to 3X longer!!
NiMH batteries are environmentally safe! NiCD batteries contain
the heavy metal Cadmium, Cadmium is highly toxic and outright
dangerous and we don't need it in our landfills. NiMH batteries use Nickel
